The only data Under The Hood processes is content you voluntarily submit — specifically:
In Apple's App Store privacy categories this falls under Photos and Videos (quote images sent for analysis) and Other Usage Data (anonymous quote and pricing data). Neither is linked to your identity or used for tracking. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, Apple ID, device identifiers, location, or browsing history.
Submitted quote data is stored anonymously to provide the analysis result and, in aggregate, to improve fair-price estimates over time. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to third parties.

Under The Hood's processing and storage providers are located in the United States. If you use the app from Canada or elsewhere outside the United States, the content you submit is transferred to and processed in the United States, where it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities under that country's laws. Because submissions contain no personal identifiers, this transfer does not involve personal information that identifies you.
Submitted quote data is retained anonymously to improve pricing accuracy over time. Because no personal identifiers are stored, we have no way to locate or delete a specific user's submissions. Contact us at drew.spagna@gmail.com with any questions.
