Questions, bug reports, or feedback — all go to the same place.
Contact
Email drew.spagna@gmail.com and you'll hear back directly from the developer. TuneCue is a small, independently built app — no support ticket system, just a real inbox.
Reporting a bug
To help track it down quickly, include:
- Which device you were using (iPhone, Apple Watch, or both) and whether the Watch app was running standalone
- The instrument or note you were tuning
- What you expected to happen vs. what actually happened
- Your iOS or watchOS version, if known
Common questions
Do I need my iPhone nearby to use the Watch app?
No. The Apple Watch app is standalone — it listens through the Watch's own microphone and works whether or not your iPhone is in range.
Do I need to look at the screen while tuning?
No — that's the point. TuneCue communicates sharp, flat, or in-tune through continuously updating, directional haptics. The screen shows the detected note and cents offset for anyone who wants to glance at it, but it's never required.
Can I change the reference pitch or use alternate temperaments?
Not in this version. TuneCue v1 is deliberately minimal: chromatic detection against a single standard reference pitch, with no string pickers, presets, or tuning system options.
Does TuneCue require an account?
No. TuneCue works fully on-device with no sign-in, no accounts, and no network connection at all. See Privacy for details.
Feature requests
Send them to the address above. TuneCue's first version is intentionally narrow in scope, but feedback shapes what comes next.
