TuneCue

End User License Agreement

Last updated August 27, 2026

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs your use of the TuneCue app ("TuneCue," "the App"). By downloading, installing, or using TuneCue, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Not a substitute for professional judgment

License grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and Apple's Standard EULA (Schedule 2 of the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions), you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TuneCue on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's usage rules.

What TuneCue is

TuneCue is a chromatic instrument tuner for iPhone and Apple Watch. It listens through the microphone, estimates whether the note you're playing is sharp, flat, or in tune, and communicates that primarily through haptic feedback, with a minimal on-screen display of the detected note and cents offset.

Accuracy of pitch detection

Pitch detection is an estimate based on microphone input and is subject to ambient noise, microphone quality, instrument timbre, and other real-world conditions. TuneCue is provided as a tuning aid and should not be relied upon as the sole authority for critical tuning needs, such as professional recording or performance calibration, without independent verification.

Your responsibilities

No warranty

TuneCue is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of its pitch detection or haptic feedback.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TuneCue and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including decisions made based on its pitch readings or haptic cues.

Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any term of this EULA. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies of it.

Changes to the app or this agreement

TuneCue may be updated as it evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised EULA. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
