Terms of Use
Last updated July 15, 2026
These terms govern your use of the FlexCue app. By downloading or using FlexCue, you agree to them.
Not a medical deviceWhat FlexCue is
FlexCue is a wellness and coaching tool that gives real-time haptic feedback on body alignment during yoga poses and PT-style exercises, using your iPhone's camera and, optionally, Apple Watch and AirPods motion data. It is intended to help you notice and correct your own form during a self-directed practice.
Not a medical device or professional advice
FlexCue is not a certified physical therapy or medical device, and is not a substitute for evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified physical therapist, physician, or other healthcare professional. It is not a substitute for in-person instruction from a qualified yoga instructor or trainer. If you have an injury, a medical condition, or any concern about whether an exercise is appropriate for you, consult a qualified professional before using FlexCue for that exercise.
Assumption of risk
Physical exercise carries inherent risk of injury. You are solely responsible for assessing your own physical condition and limits, for using appropriate caution, and for stopping if something hurts. FlexCue's alignment cues are estimates based on camera and motion sensor data — they may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable (for example, if you step out of camera frame), and should not be relied on as your only source of feedback on form or safety.
Sensor accuracy and limitations
Camera-based tracking depends on lighting, camera placement, and staying in frame; wearable motion data depends on Watch/AirPods being worn correctly and consistently. FlexCue fuses these sources to degrade gracefully rather than fail outright, but neither source is laboratory-grade motion capture, and cueing accuracy will vary by device, environment, and exercise.
Your responsibilities
- Use FlexCue only for lawful purposes and in a safe environment (clear space, stable footing, phone propped securely).
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app.
- Stop an exercise if you feel pain, dizziness, or anything that doesn't feel right, regardless of what a haptic cue tells you.
Purchases
FlexCue's full exercise library is unlocked through a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple's App Store, subject to Apple's App Store terms in addition to these terms. Refunds are handled by Apple, not FlexCue directly.
No warranty
FlexCue is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of its alignment cues.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlexCue and its developer are not liable for any injury, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made or exercises performed based on its cues.
Changes to the app or these terms
FlexCue may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
