These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SwaptIQ iOS application ("SwaptIQ," "the App," "we," "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using SwaptIQ, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. What SwaptIQ Is

SwaptIQ is a tool for fantasy sports managers to connect supported fantasy platforms (currently Sleeper, Fleaflicker, and, for users in the US and Canada, Yahoo Fantasy), build proposed trades, see trade verdicts, power rankings and trade ideas based on third-party value data, and, with an optional SwaptIQ Pro subscription, receive AI-generated analysis of trades, teams and leagues. SwaptIQ covers fantasy football and fantasy baseball. SwaptIQ is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sleeper, Yahoo, Fleaflicker, FantasyCalc, the NFL, MLB, or any fantasy sports platform or league referenced in the App.

2. Not Financial, Professional, or Guaranteed Advice

Fantasy sports outcomes are inherently unpredictable. Player values, injuries, and performance can change quickly, underlying data sources may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect, and AI-generated text can contain mistakes. You are solely responsible for the trades you make and the decisions you take based on information in the App.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use most features of SwaptIQ. You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use SwaptIQ.

4. SwaptIQ Pro Subscriptions

SwaptIQ Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks SwaptIQ's AI features. It is offered as SwaptIQ Pro Monthly ($5.99 per month) and SwaptIQ Pro Yearly ($29.99 per year), or the local equivalent shown in the App Store at purchase.

• Billing and renewal: Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing and canceling: You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings, or from Settings in SwaptIQ. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting your SwaptIQ account does not cancel the subscription.
• Refunds: Purchases are handled by Apple, and refund requests are subject to Apple's policies. We can't issue refunds directly.
• Usage limits: Each plan includes a set number of AI uses per billing period (currently up to 150 per month on the monthly plan and 1,500 per year on the yearly plan), plus a daily limit to keep the service reliable. Unused AI uses do not carry over.
• Account-linked: A subscription is linked to the SwaptIQ account that purchased it and can't be transferred to or shared with another SwaptIQ account.
• Changes: We may change Pro features, limits or prices. Price changes apply only from a future renewal and follow Apple's notice and consent rules.

5. Acceptable Use

When using SwaptIQ, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable platform's (e.g., Sleeper's, Yahoo's, or Fleaflicker's) terms of service.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App or the services it connects to.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or league.
• Use automated means to access the App outside of its intended interface.

6. Third-Party Data and Services

SwaptIQ displays data from third-party sources, including league/roster data from Sleeper, Fleaflicker, and, where connected, Yahoo Fantasy; publicly available baseball player and statistical data; and dynasty trade values from third-party value providers. Fantasy data provided by Yahoo Fantasy. We don't control these sources and aren't responsible for their accuracy, availability, or continued operation. If a third-party service changes or becomes unavailable, related features in SwaptIQ may be temporarily or permanently affected.

7. Intellectual Property

The SwaptIQ app, its design, branding, and original content are owned by SwaptIQ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Player names, team names, and league data displayed in the App belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes only.

8. Disclaimers

SwaptIQ is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that trade analyses will be accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SwaptIQ and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including decisions made based on trade analysis shown in the App.

10. Changes to the App or These Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of SwaptIQ at any time. We may also update these Terms; if we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to SwaptIQ if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by the law of your jurisdiction.
