Feel the time. Own the room.

How It Works

Set your total presentation duration, press play, and put your phone in your pocket. SilentCue counts down silently and delivers three distinct haptic signals at the moments that matter: a soft nudge at the halfway point, two quick taps when two minutes remain, and a sustained pulse when time is up. No sound, no screen, no broken eye contact.

Frequently Asked Questions

I don't feel any haptics. What's wrong?

Haptic feedback requires a physical iPhone (iPhone 8 or later). Haptics do not work in the iOS Simulator. Also check that your device is not in Low Power Mode, which can reduce haptic intensity.

Does the timer keep running when my screen is locked?

Yes. The timer tracks an absolute end time rather than a tick count, so it stays accurate even when the app is backgrounded or the screen is off. Haptics will fire through the lock screen.

What are Calm and Sharp modes?

They are two visual themes. Calm uses a dark, forest-teal palette suited for a relaxed mindset. Sharp uses a clean light palette for high-focus settings. You can switch between them by tapping the selector at the top of the screen or by swiping left and right. Both modes behave identically.

Can I change when the haptics fire?

Yes. Tap the slider icon in the Milestone section to open the milestone editor, where you can adjust the trigger time for each signal relative to your total duration. You can also toggle individual milestones on or off from the main screen.

What are Profiles?

Profiles let you save different timer configurations (duration, milestones) under a name, so you can quickly switch between setups for different talks. Tap the person-stack icon in the Milestone section to manage profiles.

Does SilentCue work with Apple Watch?

Yes. If you have a paired Apple Watch, the companion app will mirror the countdown and deliver the same three haptic cues on your wrist. Start and stop state syncs automatically between the iPhone and Watch.

Does the app collect any data?

No. SilentCue collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no network requests. All your settings live only on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
